Beige in a cold color palette. Or how to combine beige with accents

This is not the most common color scheme used in the interior, however, considering the beige range, it is impossible not to mention its integral component – the palette of cold beige colors.

It is important to note that the use of a cold palette has a rather tangible effect, capable of giving the impression of an emotionally consistent, and sometimes even deliberately strict, color base. This effect is due to the fact that the entire cold palette comes from the deviation of beige tones towards more often gray or green, and less often blue shades.

For this reason, the method of using shades of beige is most comparable to the methods of using gray colors.

If a large amount of natural light enters the room, and this is not implied in the design plan, then the excess of natural light is often compensated for precisely by using a cold beige palette. The use of shades of white in individual elements helps to soften this effect, to make it less strict.

As in the case of the use of gray, this palette easily accepts bright color accents that can make the interior lively, give it a mood. What is important, the color accents can be easily changed, and thus the mood of the entire room can be changed. This technique is a small but precious secret of the cold range of beige shades.
